  • Whenever you search for a translation on Linguee, each suggested result is displayed in context (typically that of an official European Union document).

  • TechDico is a terrific resource for technical translation (especially when it comes to engineering/mechanics terms).

  • The United Nation’s Dag Hammarskjöld Library features a comprehensive list of technical terminologies and dictionaries in several languages right here.

  • KudoZ is a crowdsourced glossary created by ProZ, a helpful community of experienced linguists. By joining ProZ, you can even get your own translation headscratchers sorted!

Online Text Translators

  • DeepL is an online text translator created by the developers of Linguee. You can use the online text editor, or upload any file of your choosing right here.

  • Did you know that you can combine Google Translate with Google Lens to translate street signs, posters, etc?

    You can also translate whole Google Docs, or upload entire files to Google Drive before using its document translation feature.
