Based at the University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK), the British Centre for Literary Translation hosts several workshops and events year-round. It also supports the university's Masters in Literary Translation.

The National Centre for Writing, also based in Norwich, has developed translator-specific mentorships, residencies, and courses.

The Translation House Looren opened its doors in 2005 to host literary translation residencies, and even offers grants for eligible applicants.
